It is our sincere effort to make sure the children under our care grow up in a healthy environment. We put in all our efforts along with various authorities to rehabilitate the children in need of care and protection by first trying to reunite them with their biological parents. If this isn’t possible, then they are declared “Free for Adoption” by Child Welfare Committee’s Bench of Magistrates set up under the Juvenile Justice Act. These children are then placed for adoption. The best interests of the child are considered before any decision and each document about the child is scrutinized by authorities/our team.

Welfare Home for Children has trained staff to take care of children and has good infrastructure. There are dormitories for children aged 2 and above. For infants a separate nursery is maintained with all modern facilities. All infants have separate cradles for themselves. For the safety of children, the centre is under CCTV surveillance all the time.
We encourage and facilitate our children to partake in normal day to day activities like going to school, playing, watching cartoons and going on picnics to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We celebrate each and every child’s birthday with warmth. Festivals are also celebrated eagerly. Our endeavor is to create lifetime experiences for children regardless of any faith or bias. We look at the holistic and all-round development of each child that ensures that they grow up in an environment of love and affection, are safe, secure and happy; pursue their education so as to ensure a seamless move of a well-adjusted child to their adoptive parents.
Over 2000 children have been adopted by families in India and abroad due to our dedication and commitment.

We are registered under Ministry of Corporate Affairs for undertaking CSR activities. All donations to Welfare Home for Children are tax exempted under section 80G and 12A of Income Tax Act 1961.
