India has enormous problems with abandoned & orphaned children. It is estimated that there are approximately 30 million helpless, orphaned and abandoned children in India, out of which, according to CARA, not even 500,000 make it to institutionalized care and just 3000 to 4,000 get adopted annually. In India, if there is no family to take care of an orphaned or abandoned child it becomes the responsibility of the government to provide him/her with fundamental rights. It is then we step in to provide love, care and security to such children till they find a home for life.
Welfare Home for Children is committed to provide the children with best environment and opportunities to enjoy their childhood and ensuring that each child’s fundamental right to live with human dignity is protected.
We urge you to play your part in gifting a meaningful childhood to underprivileged children. Through your contributions, we can reach more children and support their various needs.
